They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league 30 months following their departure for construction to commence. “Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.” Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators can be present as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, it will accommodate close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. The club said finished work included a new players’ tunnel along with upgraded changing facilities. Recent Activities The club conducted a public practice inside the stadium earlier this month. The club said they were hoping for permission by UEFA to play their next home Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt next month at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
